Shared Chaos.

Sometimes everything falls together like a ruined house of cards- a beautiful mess, imperfect and half-hazard. Oh it’s mayhem, you know it is, but there’s something beautiful and artistic.. as if each torn, smudged, burnt piece was placed lovingly in precise order.

But we are not born of order, we live chaotically.

It seems a miracle when someone finds our mess appealing. The bafflement is extraordinary and we’re incredulous of the possibility- even as the last piece crashes to the ground at our feet and we survey the destruction. But, they smile and the comfortable beauty of their own catastrophe calls to you, until there’s overwhelming wonder that anyone could find THIS desirable and yet… you both do. Maybe it depends on the angle, the tilt, the lighting…

Maybe it’s just each other’s point of view.

Somehow our own brand of imperfections attracts each other, to our amazement and bewilderment. So we tumble along together - our chaos mixing, rearranging and melding until the wreckage of each other reflects, enhances and weaves together- a disjointed dance of charming disarray…

And we hold on to each other as best we can.

Against perfection. Chaos. Oblivious. Emptying my mind of words and surprised when they form sentences. Randomness and inspired ramblings. Thank you Muses.
